Central Control's v4 show control software now integrates support for Magewell's Director Mini production system and Pro Convert decoders, to be controlled by a range of 3rd party tools
The new version 4 of Central Control's show control software now integrates support for two of Magewell's production and IP workflow devices. Central Control 4 includes new modules for controlling Magewell's Director Mini, a combined production and streaming system, and Pro Convert multi-protocol streaming and video-over-IP decoders.
Central Control 4 is a show control and automation application that bridges a wide variety of live production devices with over 50 types of control surfaces and protocols such as X-Keys programmable keyboards, customisable Elgato Stream Deck control pads for streaming and MIDI controllers for music data. Production devices include video mixers, graphics systems, lighting consoles, PTZ cameras, media servers and others.
The new Director Mini module for Central Control 4 controls scene switching, graphics triggering and audio (including VU meters and scribble strips for labelling when using a Behringer X-Touch control surface). Meanwhile, the new module for Pro Convert decoders allows you to select source video streams for productions.
Magewell's Director Mini is a compact, portable production and streaming system that combines multi-input switching, graphics, streaming, recording and monitoring in one device. It is designed as a straightforward way to produce multi-camera content through a touchscreen interface and companion mobile app.
Pro Convert decoders transform live, IP media streams into high-quality HDMI or SDI outputs for digital AV transmission over cables connected to monitors, projectors and production gear. The devices decode H.264 or H.265 compressed video, delivered in many streaming protocols including SRT, RTMP, RTSP, HLS and others, as well as High-Bandwidth NDI, NDI HX2 and NDI HX3.
