A new managed cloud service built on Perifery’s Object Matrix platform and ERA infrastructure will give media companies high levels of data protection and uninterrupted access to assets.
Perifery and ERA have partnered to build a fully managed cloud service for ERA customers and users in the media and entertainment industry. Using Perifery’s Object Matrix platform on ERA infrastructure will give media companies high levels of data protection and uninterrupted access to media assets.
COEUS is ERA’s managed digital archive that, as a cloud-based system, is device-independent and secure and is continuously kept up to date over time. This environment helps broadcast companies, post-production facilities, VFX houses and media content producers who are concerned with content safety and availability. With this integration, Object Matrix forms part of the Coeus archive system, making object storage functionality available to customers through a regular interface.

The Perifery integration allows ERA to add cloud-based archive and back-up services with media-specific functionality to Coeus including predictable cloud workflows, metadata support and self-serve access to content from anywhere.
