Vizrt has released Viz Connect Audio, a dedicated solution designed to manage audio sources within an NDI network.
Viz Connect Audio is among the first standalone products available focused solely on audio connectivity for NDI workflows. It works with all audio formats as a dedicated place for visibility and control of source, and operates directly with Vizrt's line of TriCaster devices.
The system adds new functionality for handling both the visual and audio aspects of NDI sources on a network. According to Steve Taylor, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Vizrt, the ability to route and configure audio using existing NDI infrastructure addresses a gap in live production environments where audio quality and reliability are essential.
Viz Connect Audio can be used to connect analogue audio sources and convert them to NDI for use across local or remote systems.
The tool allows users to identify, control and manage all audio feeds on an NDI network, extending the system’s reach beyond direct connections available on TriCaster devices.
