Thai streaming platform TrueVisions NOW integrates Bitmovin Observability to gain granular visibility into video playback and user-level engagement on a real-time basis across all devices.
TrueVisions NOW, part of the TrueVisions Group, is a major streaming provider in Thailand that carries more than 2,500 programmes from local producers and from around the world. The titles encompass original content, entertainment and exclusive live sports, totalling over 41,000 hours of programming.
The company has recently been able to carry out real-time video analytics at scale across all of its supported platforms and devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and TrueID set-top boxes, by using Bitmovin's Observability tool. Integrating Bitmovin’s software gives TrueVisions NOW granular visibility into content, device and user-level engagement on a real-time basis.
Maintaining Quality of Experience
It connects directly into TrueVisions' purpose-built, in-house data warehouse, where large volumes of analytics data can be processed and stored efficiently without affecting performance. This data warehouse integration, achieved through collaboration between the engineering teams at TrueVisions and Bitmovin, also helps the two companies keep the total cost of ownership low.

Bitmovin Observability, tailored specifically to video workflows, with support for a range of open source and native players, gives streaming providers real-time visibility into video and ad playback. Its features – such as session-level tracking, alerts and AI-supported error debugging – are designed to help teams detect and resolve issues faster, show performance trends and optimise the monetisation of streams.
Source of Truth
Once deployed, it continuously streams and visualises data from the player in real time, and also stores it, giving engineering, operations and product teams a reliable source of truth about how each playback session unfolded. Showing session-level metrics, it includes an incidents screen with alerts to help operators resolve issues proactively, particularly in relation to live events and sports.
A further set of tools covers advertising analytics, delivering real-time data on SSAI, CSAI and SGAI ad performance across live and on-demand streams. An AI Assistant is built in as a natural language interface that teams can use, without formalised query construction, to ask questions about playback performance and error data directly.
