JT-NM Tested Program shows how closely vendor equipment conforms to SMPTE and AMWA NMOS standards, helping users decide on purchases more confidently from compliant vendors.
The Joint Task Force on Networked Media (JT-NM) has tested the systems and services of Pebble, devoted to automation, content management and integrated channel design, as a part of the NMOS family of networked media specifications. Passing the JT-NM Tested program demonstrates the level of Pebble’s commitment to the adoption of open standards and gives customers further assurance regarding compliance with accepted standards in governance, interoperability and security.
As demonstrated at IBC2022 in the IP Showcase Theatre, Pebble systems meet JT-NM Tested conditions for both SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS/TR-1001-1 workflows and integrations. The JT-NM is a self-coordinating group of industry bodies working together to promote the development of IP technologies for professional media systems. They have published the JT-NM Tested Catalogue, listing vendor results and also contains test plans executed by the JT-NM Tested Team in Wuppertal, Germany in August of 2022 at Riedel Communications
The JT-NM Tested Program intends to show how closely vendor equipment conforms to key parts of SMPTE standards, AMWA NMOS specifications and selected real-world scenarios. End users can use the results to make purchase decisions more confidently, from vendors whose products comply with relevant standards and specifications.
In turn, vendors gain public recognition that their products meet the criteria established by the JT-NM, the appropriate badges and inclusion into catalogues of tested products. The badges can be used to make marketing statements to encourage the sales of the vendors’ products.
