Vizrt and Panasonic have developed new compatibility, integrating the KAIROS live production platform with Viz Mosart automated device control and Viz Flowics real-time graphics.

Vizrt and Panasonic have developed new compatibility between Panasonic’s live production platform KAIROS, and Vizrt’s Viz Mosart and Viz Flowics. Their development makes Viz Mosart’s studio automation features and Viz Flowics’ HTML graphics rendering directly available to KAIROS users.
Studio Production Assistant
Viz Mosart serves as a studio production assistant that helps producers to run complex shows, error-free and with high levels of consistency and efficiency, every time. While Viz Mosart is designed to automate device control throughout the studio, it has enough flexibility to maintain manual control at all times, and to allow content producers to focus on the stories they are delivering.
As part of Vizrt’s membership to the KAIROS Alliance Partner program, first established in Septamber 2024, the new integration of Viz Mosart with KAIROS adds more live video production control for users, creating options for delivering rich content for broadcasts and live streams.
IT-Based Open Architecture
Flexible and scalable, the KAIROS platform runs on IT-based open architecture, so that new functionality and links to external devices can be added using application software. Flexible I/O options and operation improve its efficiency for live production, handling multiple independent linear streams.

KAIROS natively supports baseband and IP signals such as SDI, ST 2110 and NDI, in any combination, as well as PTP synchronization, making it suitable for remote IP-based environment video productions. Resolution- and format-independent, operators can process mixed input sources with different resolutions, such as HD and UHD, simultaneously – for instance, standard 16:9 for broadcast delivery, at the same time as 32:9 format for video display walls.
Without a finite number of MEs or keys, like a conventional switcher, KAIROS allows as many layers as the GPU capacity permits, and keys and scaling can be set as required in each layer, with various effects added later on. Processing latency can be as low as one frame, preserving the original ambiance of sports and concert events and achieving accurate lip-sync.
Native HTML5 Graphics
Now, as well as accessing Viz Mosart’s automation and control, the new updates to the KAIROS platform mean KAIROS users can respond to the growing demand for native HTML 5 graphics support, due to direct Viz Flowics integration. Graphics generated by Viz Flowics can be rendered natively in KAIROS.
Viz Flowics is a SaaS platform for remote and in-studio production of interactive content and live graphics including match scores, updates and tickers. Content creators at any location can build graphics without relying on dedicated hardware.

With this new development, KAIROS users can also curate and include social media commentary and second screen audience engagement mechanics into live productions, from news to sports, esports and corporate events. “Using Viz Flowics graphics directly in KAIROS workflows not only simplifies live production, but also adds new creative possibilities in a significant development for live processes,” said Gabriel Baños, Founder, Viz Flowics
