Improved video quality checks: The BATON 9 series enhances the performance of video quality checks, especially for 4K content. It adds support for 16-bit black bar checks and includes improvements in detecting unwanted frames, field order, black bars, video dropouts, ghosting, combing artifacts, black frames, defective pixels, video signal and black levels, and shot transitions. New functionality also allows QR code validation against pre-uploaded images.

Advanced audio quality support: The BATON platform supports audio quality checks like Nielsen Watermarking and audio loudness. Additionally, it integrates Whisper AI for audio language identification, now supporting Czech, Danish, and Turkish languages. It includes new features for DC offset detection and minimum audio level reporting by channel, as well as enhancements in audio description, silence, and low-pass filter checks. Enhanced format support: The solution now has added support for RDD59-1 specification, BW64 audio, and 24-bit LPCM audio.
